The Theory and Practice of Syntonic Phototherapy: A Review

If you’re considering doing the Better Eye Health Program, you’re probably wondering why we are so insistent that you do color therapy. If you have never heard of color therapy you might want to know more about where it comes from and what it does.

This review article by Larry Wallace, OD tells of the history of Syntonics which is the name given to the science and study of color therapy. Dr. Wallace was the person who helped Grace Halloran, Ph.D put together her color therapy program and for this we are forever grateful.

What the article shows:
This article won’t tell you how to build a color therapy machine or how to set up a program for your eyes but it will give you some background and enough information for you to go study more that is your interest. On its own, it is a very nice review article about a therapy that is a critical part of the Better Eye Health Program.

Brain Functional Connectivity Network Breakdown and Restoration in Blindness

This article from the noted journal Neurology and the accompanying editorial describe a challenge that Grace Halloran and I have worked with for years. When you do a therapy that improves your vision, there is often additional work needed to get the eye and the brain working together again. If you’re just starting the better eye health Program you won’t have to worry about this until later. We include this article just as a reminder of what the next phase of the work will be for you as you see your vision improve.

What the article describes:
The main article about brain functional conductivity by Bola et.al. describes a well-known phenomenon. Namely when any part of the visual pathway is damaged there can be a disconnect between the brain and the eye. The editorial that accompanied this article gets to the issue most important to me. Therapies are needed to restore the proper connection between the brain and the eye as the eye begins to regenerate and heal. What is needed is not the same for all people so we will deal with each person
individually, creating a personalized program for them if this kind of functional therapy is ever needed.

This is an advanced topic and more relevant for people well along in their work in the better eye health treatment program.

The Treatment of Retinal Diseases w/ Microcurrent Stimulation & Nutritional Supplementation

If you’re like most people considering the Better Eye Health Program you want to know if the techniques work and if they’ll work for you. They work, but only if you do them. We’ve tried to put up as many studies as we can find that describe the results that we and other practitioners have had. The studies all show that these techniques work and that they are safe.

This study follow two other studies we have previously put up from 1993 and 1998 that also used a combination of microcurrent stimulation and nutrition to help people with retinal diseases like macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and Stargardt. Like the others, the majority of the people studied showed actual improvement i n their vision.

What this study shows:
A total of 47 people were included in this study, and most showed improved vision using only supplements and electrical stimulation. Modern programs like the Better Eye Health Program see about 90% of people showing improvement, but to get this kind of result there are numerous different therapies used. To put this in perspective, the vast body of scientific research that has been published about macular degeneration shows that if you do only supplements, you can at best slow the progression of the disease but you never see improvements. It makes findings like the ones shown in this paper even more remarkable.
